about Cowrie Bay

Music

This section deals with music I make at home using my trusty  Fostex  FD 8
a variety of  instruments and  low tech gismos.
I let my imagination loose with this music and try to let the particular piece  I am working
on show me the way forward, rather than impose too many preconceptions.
I make this music for fun, but enjoy making limited edition CD's complete with artwork as
shown below. If  you want to hear more or are interested in
any way please contact me.

Artwork

and turn left:
Directions from the local train station set to music, ambient pieces featuring flocks of
sparrows in the back garden  and a funky fanfare later becoming a plea to leave.

Two Standard Tunes: Only two tunes but  a mammoth undertaking. Random tempos intertwining, in and out of focus, various basses, my singing and speaking voice, organ sounds, real and virtual percussion. I had a lot of fun putting these together.
