2010 in Music and  Art
 My current  project, a new piece of music and visual artwork every week for the year of 2010  

Peter Morgan  double bass player and visual artist

Nils Solberg  great guitar player and graphic artist. I  went to college with Nils and have stayed close ever since                         

Mike Piggott  One of the best jazz violinists around, very good friend and blues guitar player to boot!

Keith Nichols  Incomparable ragtime and classic pianist .

Richard Pite  Spectacular drummer, sousaphone player and double bassist. 

Ian Ritchie  Fantastic producer, saxophonist and writer. Ian recorded my album "We Met".   

Peter Ind  Bass legend, visual artist, record label boss and club owner. Like just about everyone else, I had  some fantastically useful lessons from Peter. Another Twickenham resident.

Gary Potter  Astounding guitar player. To see Gary play is to suspend belief.

Ian Cruickshank  Long standing friend, guitar guru and writer. Ian runs his band "Gypsy Jazz" and Fret records.

Andy Aitchison  Lovely lyrical jazz violin player with a subtle different way of playing.
 
Jonathan Taberner  Wonderful swinging pianist and award winning web designer.

Esmond Selwyn  Ace guitar player, we used to work together in Don Rendell's band.

Flora Gare. Artist and teacher inc.South Hill Park. Flora specialises in stunning, large scale sculpture.

Bella Pieroni  Mainly figurative artist with a wonderful free style. Hugely successful and a Twickenham resident.  

Emily Morgan  Great sculptor who now lives in Canada. I sometimes used to model for Emily when she lived and worked on Eel Pie island. No relation.

Simon Burder  Artist and print maker. Simon also teaches all over London inc.SCOLA.

Martin Davison  Painter and clarinet player. Martin's paintings always have a lovely use of light.

Suzy Abrahams  Suzy is part of the fountain gallery co-operative and produces really interesting work, see in particular her "Hampton Court" series. 

Nils Landmark Solberg F.R.S.A.  The late father of Nils the guitar player (above). A wonderful painter.

Pauline Sutton  Very beautiful sculpture, really interesting and varied work.

South Hill Park  Well known Bracknell arts centre. I have played, recorded, and modelled there. Still do.

SCOLA  Sutton College of the Liberal Arts Very good art classes with inspirational teachers and models. I have worked at SCOLA for years.

Par-ici  Very interesting Twickenham shop that sells the work of  local artists and craftsmen. My CDs are on sale there.

Clarke Biesele. Clarke makes excellent  magnetic double bass pickups in Canada, I have "003" and use it for high volume playing.

Newtone strings  Hand made guitar strings, You can talk with the "man himself" who designs and makes them. I use them on my bass guitars and really enjoy  them.
