This is a music based project that I have wanted to work on for a long time, I have at last started. It is not a new idea, in fact many people have created similar work.

I shall be creating site specific pieces starting with ambient recordings made at the "Places" concerned. I hope to use these location recordings as the first layer of  pieces of music inspired by these places and their sights and sounds.  

At the moment I am hoping that these pieces will feature double bass and ideally I will also be able to perform them to a live audience.

All that however is in the future, the first thing to do is to make some location recordings and see where they take me. I have had several locations in mind for years and I am anxious to start.

This is not going to happen overnight so I will keep you informed of my progress. There is an obvious possibility of visual artwork to accompany the music so this project could be really exciting.
19.02.12 Hopefully a positive update within a week. My other ongoing project "Citizens of Neutral Moresnet" has been taking most of my time.
