Week 39.
This image uses a
technique I have been developing over the past 3 or 4 weeks, and this is the
first time I have shown it to you. I have been
trying to give the image the feel of a "found object", something which
has a meaningful history but has only just been discovered.
The music to go with it is a bluesy/rocky/jazzy piece,
with me playing piccolo bass guitar, pretending to be a lead
guitar player. It was great fun to play; but has I think, a rough hewn
organic quality (carefully enhanced by the tuning imbalance between
piccolo and sub-bass basses) that goes well with the image. Before you
ask, no I didn't break my "no
drum machines allowed" rule, please note my virtuoso cowbell and
conga playing.
