Week 27.
The
artwork came first this week and has a glassy opaque look to it. I
painted it on a wooden board using many layers of acrylic paints and
inks which were then rubbed down.
I tried to get the same opaque quality in the music, but have ended up
with a monstrous Phil Spector wall of sound! I don't know if it
qualifies as opaque, but I think that it still suits the artwork. I
have
tried to give it more interest by using a slightly asymmetrical but
repetitive sequence.
