Week 15. As soon as I started working this week my plans to "explore simplicity" were completely forgotten. It is always difficult to work from preconceptions, I think I might have to wait for simplicity to simply appear.
This week the image preceded the music. As you can see the image could be linked to all sorts of artefacts from the real world, however I wasn't thinking of anything specific when I painted it. The music maybe gives a clue to how I feel about it now.
Strangely enough, I think that both pieces have ended up with their own calm simplicity.
